Three weeks after the NLS curtain-raiser when he secured a top-5 result, Edoardo Liberati is set to return to the Nordschleife circuit that hosts this coming weekend the Nurburgring 24 Hours ADAC Qualification Race.
The Italian racer will drive the KCMGPorsche 911 GT3 R car, completing a very competitive quartet with team-mates Josh Burdon, Marco Holzer and Alexandre Imperatori.
“I can’t wait to be back on track, making our final preparations ahead of the Nürburgring 24 Hours”, said Liberati. “We know our potential and we are confident we can take a strong result and at the same time strengthen our position ahead of the main event next month.”
The 28-year-old Rome-based driver is set to his third consecutive Nürburgring 24 Hours, the second for him in a KCMG Porsche.
The 6-hour Qualification Race is the last opportunity to complete a full preparation ahead of the main event. The fifth position claimed at the NLS opener last April is a very promising start to the 2021 campaign.
Track action for Liberati will get underway on Saturday with the warm-up session and the free practice. Qualifying 1 will start at 18.45 while Qualifying 2 is scheduled on Sunday at 8.30 followed by the top-30 super pole. The race will commence at 12.
