The normally quiet Esso at Gelang Patah, Malaysia, was filled abuzz with a flurry of activities on early Sunday morning, 15 September 2013 as an entourage of 66 Singapore-registered Porsche cars gathered at the start point of the three-day Porsche Parade Southeast Asia 2013. After a welcome speech by Mr Howie Tan, President of the Porsche Club Singapore (PCS), the participants were briefed on various aspects of the Parade, including expected road conditions and safety. The 11 convoys were then flagged off by the Malaysian Tourism Board and Dr Henrik Dreier, the General Manager of Porsche Singapore, and they departed north for Putra Jaya.

The convoys from Singapore arrived at Putra Jaya at about 10am, where they met up with their Malaysian counterparts. In total, 126 Porsche cars from both sides of the Causeway convened at the square. The entourage was warmly welcomed by Malaysia Minister and group photographs were taken before they continued on their journey to Berjaya Hills in Bukit Tinggi.

The participants arrived at Berjaya Hills in the afternoon and were welcomed to The Chateau Spa and Organic Wellness Resort with a beautiful pool-side cocktail reception at sunset which later concluded to a cosy dinner with free-and-easy time for the participants to relax and mingle.

The Parade continued after breakfast the next morning, en route to Bentong, for a full-day of driving and sight-seeing, before returning to the resort for the evening.

A late start to the next day was planned for the comfort of participants. The Porsche entourage checked out of The Chateau Spa and Organic Wellness Resort at around midday and made their way to Bukit Tinggi Resort and Golf Club for lunch, before continuing on a one-hour drive to The Majestic, Kuala Lumpur. The evening concluded with a farewell dinner for both PCS and PCM, setting a memorable end to the Parade.

PCS continued on its own itinerary on the fourth day. Starting bright and early, PAP and PSG organized a Track Day in Sepang International Circuit. Four professional PCCA drivers were especially recruited for the day, namely Earl Anderson Bamber, Benjamin Rouget, Alexandre Imperatori and Rodolfo Ávila. Participants were taken through a safety briefing before they were divided into four teams, taking turns to embark on four activities on the track under the watchful eyes of the instructors. The day then continued with two sessions of open track with on-site lunch and refreshments in between, before ending at 5pm.
