With Intercontinental Trophy Cup (ITC) recently completing its third season of spec Porsche Cayman racing, the organization is happy to announce a diverse and dynamic schedule for the upcoming 2014 season.
Once again visiting some of North America’s greatest tracks, the 2014 race calendar will consist of seven double-header sprint format events in conjunction with the newly formed North American Endurance Challenge Series (NAECS) which will feature a three-hour endurance championship race event each weekend.
“We’re very excited to be further growing the Intercontinental Trophy Cup for its fourth year of competition,” said ITC founder Dougie Livingston. “This is a legitimate road to professional sports car racing, with a ladder program into endurance racing for North American drivers both young and old.”
In addition to returning to several tracks which have been staples of the ITC Porsche Cayman race circuit in previous years such as Sebring International Raceway, New Jersey Motorsports Park, and Watkins Glen International, the series will also debut at two new tracks in 2014 with visits to Lime Rock Park and Monticello Motor Club.

March 21-23 — New Orleans Motorsports Park
April 11-13 — Homestead-Miami Speedway
May 16-18 — New Jersey Motorsport Park
July 3-5 — Lime Rock Park
September 12-14 — Monticello Motor Club
September 26-28 — Watkins Glen International
October 10-12 — Sebring International Raceway
The ITC and NAECS will be announcing partnerships for a successful 2014 season in the coming weeks.

The North American Endurance Challenge Series (NAECS) is an endurance series built on the fundamentals of innovation, passion and cost effectiveness. Rules in place to help keep racing economical also in some cases have caused building cars to a rules package opposed to exploring and exposing the talents of the constructor and the drivers. NAECS rules are oriented around safety and utilizing a unique qualifying system to establish classes and a 108% rule to secure entrants in class during competition. The NAEC is a 6 round series with a true 7th round champions shootout for the true North American Endurance Champion supported by some of North Americas leading motorsport product providers.
