Strong driver lineup for Muehlner Motorsports at VIRginia International Raceway

Recap: Season opener at St. Petersburg

With a Pole Position and two second places, the season opener of Pirelli World Challenge at St. Petersburg was a great success for Muehlner Motorsports America.

After Gabriele Piana had dominated the first practice sessions, a new BOP was enforced on the Cayman GT4 MR.

The two races, held on Saturday and Sunday, showed some hard but fair racing and in the end, Piana took home two second place finishes for the team.

At the upcoming weekend the Team of Bernhard and Renate-Carola Mühlner will try to top the results of St. Petersburg at the SprintX Event at VIRginia International Raceway!

Pirelli World Challenge VIR: Gabriele Piana and Moritz Kranz in GTS SprintX

Gabriele Piana and Moritz Kranz will be the drivers for Muehlner Motorsports America in the SprintX races the upcoming weekend at the VIRginia International Raceway. The driver combination is displaying the teams goal: Racing for the victory!

The race weekend will start already on Wednesday with load in and track walk, followed by two free practice sessions on Thursday. On Friday will be the two official practices. Qualification and the first race will be on Saturday, the second race will be on Sunday.

Bernhard Mühlner: “After we had promising results at St. Petersburg, our goal for VIR is pretty clear: We want to fight for the victory! We proved more than once, that our package is good for taking home the win and I am convinced that we will be able to play a big part this weekend with our car, crew and drivers!”
