Darren Law Featured Presenter at Long Star Region PCA Awards

Flying Lizard Motorsports Program Manager and Team Principal Darren Law will be a featured presenter at next month’s Lone Star Region Porsche Club of America (PCA) Annual Awards and Recognition night near Houston. Open to all members of the Porsche Club of America, the February 9th Houston event will have the theme “Looking Forward. Going Forward.”

“It’s always an honor to be included in Porsche Club of America events,” said Program Manager Darren Law. “Flying Lizard built our legacy with Porsche machinery and we see the fruits of that relationship everywhere we go. I’m looking forward to speaking at the awards and sharing stories from a memorable era, as well as looking ahead to another year with Porsche as our manufacturer.”

Flying Lizard Motorsports announced earlier this week a two car entry in the SRO’s Pirelli GT4 America, formally the Pirelli World Challenge GTS class. The first entry was announced to be a 2019 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport with returning drivers Michael Dinan and Robby Foley, with the second entry to be announced at a later date. Flying Lizard Motorsports last raced Porsches in the series in 2017.

“The Lone Star Region is honored to have Darren Law as our featured presenter at the Annual Awards and Recognition Event on February 9th, 2019,” said Steven Bukoski, President, Lone Star Region PCA. “Our club will get to hear about his racing history, how he got to where he is today, and his vast accomplishments. Darren will provide context to the event theme of ‘Looking Forward. Going Forward,’ including his involvement with Porsche, as a racing car manufacturer, at a factory level and how Porsche has progressed with car development to cater to both the customer and racing series.”
