A late decision by Alegra Motorsports will see Michael de Quesada drive alongside Daniel Morad in the 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge America.
Alegra had previously announced the original duo in their Pro-AM effort of Carlos de Quesada and Daniel Morad in a brand new Porsche 911 GT3R. With Michael having successful Carrera Cup run, team principal Carlos de Quesada has decided to give his seat to Michael. This move Alegra’s second entry in the 2019 Blancpain GT World Challenge into the Pro-Pro category.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to take on this challenge.” said Michael: “It’s going to be great driving with Dan again.” Michael and Dan were a part of Alegra’s 2017 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona win and raced together in several races through the 2017 IMSA Weather Tech Series Championship.
The pair will race alongside sister 2019 911 GT3R driven by Wolf Henzler and Marco Holzer.
