One race under their belt, Intercontinental Trophy Cup is excited to continue the 2014 season at Homestead-Miami Speedway April 12-13. Running at such a well-known track is a draw for many teams not only for bragging rights, but the chance to show off their skills to the thousands of spectators expected to show for the event. The hosting series, Formula & Automobile Racing Association (FARA), reports having over ten thousand spectators attend past events.
With the promise of star-struck fans, Bodymotion drivers Ralph Marra and Rick Stavola will return to run the sprint series. Marra and Stavola will continue their rivalry for top spot on the podium at the famed track, ready to leave their mark.
Team Salad, made up of Mark Sandridge and Joe Varde, will be returning to run the second-ever North American Endurance Challenge Series race. As the season progresses, Team Salad is proving they are tough competitors and are ready to take top spot yet again in Miami.
ITC is also pleased to welcome back Miami-native Robert Booth back to the track for the first time this season. Booth will be returning for his second season with ITC.
After a long off-season of recruiting, ITC is thrilled to welcome the father-son duo of Joe and Lucas Catania to the series in Homestead. The Catania’s are both seasoned drivers, coming from the Pirelli World Challenge series
“Coming to Homestead we are able to focus on additional exposure for the series and creating more awareness of the program we have to offer,” Series Principal Dougie Livingston said. “As far as a facility, Miami is one of my personal favorites. Robert Booth made a hard bid for us to race in the beautiful Florida weather and I’m really excited to be back this year.”

The North American Endurance Challenge Series (NAECS) is an endurance series built on the fundamentals of innovation, passion and cost effectiveness. Rules in place to help keep racing economical also in some cases have caused building cars to a rules package opposed to exploring and exposing the talents of the constructor and the drivers.
