Callum Macleod set to race Porsche at Spa

British GT race winner Callum Macleod will be looking to carry on his winning form at Spa-Francorchamps as he gets set to make his debut in the 750 Motor Club’s Club Enduro series.

Callum, who won at the Belgian circuit in British GT’s most recent appearance in July, will join Porsche Club GB competitor Mike Price in his Porsche 996 C2 to tackle the two hour race.

Mike has claimed numerous podiums and top ten finishes on his way to fifth in the championship and his partnership with Callum – who has set two lap records in British GT this season in addition to his Spa victory – should see the pair fighting for a win.

The pair will be racing for the County Classics Team in what will be the final round of the Club Enduro season and with grids regularly reaching more than 30 cars, they will have a lot of competition to claim top honours.

Callum said: “I am looking forward to working alongside Mike and joining the Club Enduro grid at Spa. I got the phone call a week after winning the British GT race at the circuit and I’m hoping we can carry on that race winning form in the Porsche.

“Mike is having a great season in the Porsche Club GB championship with the County Classics Team and I’m confident that we will form a great partnership and claim the best result we can in the two hour race.”

The Club Enduro race will take place on Sunday 1 October for two hours.
